Moberly celebrated the opening of its first new park in decades, on September 10, 2025! Moberly's Kiwanis Park is an inclusive build located at 911 Sinnock Avenue. The park includes a 9,000 sq ft inclusive and fenced in playground with pour in place surfacing, ample parking, a pavilion with all ADA aluminum tables, and heated and cooled restrooms with changing tables rated up to adult capacity.

In addition to benefitting the physical and mental health of community members, Parks and playgrounds are the great equalizer where youth share space, time, and joy without consideration of demographics or abilities. Kiwanis Park will provide a park to the northeast quadrant of Moberly in addition to serving as a regional asset for inclusive play in Missouri. Moberly welcomes guests from outside the area to play and enjoy everything Kiwanis Park and Moberly have to offer.

This partnership project was made possible by a community-wide effort to accomplish something larger than ourselves. In addition to grant funding from the Land and Water Conservation Fund, there are numerous community donors including... Gold Sponsors: Randolph County Developmental Disability Services, ICAN Missouri Foundation, Randolph County Health Department (Laura Fritsch Trust), Moberly Kiwanis Club, and Moberly Friends of the Park; Silver Sponsors: Moberly Optimist Club and United Way of Randolph County; Bronze Sponsors: Fusselman Salvage and Mattox Advertising; as well as countless other individual and corporate donations A special thank you goes out to the Moberly Housing Authority for mowing the property for the last few years and the open green space that remains for years to come - your partnership is so important to us! From city staff to Council to Park Board members in recent years, thanks to all involved. Teamwork made this project possible!
