Approximately 25 acres in size, beautiful Rothwell Lake offers boating and fishing opportunities for the whole family. In addition to some great fishing spots around the lake, there is a boat launch to put in your own fishing boat.
We also offer paddleboat rentals, so you can enjoy a leisurely tour around the lake. Rothwell Lake also features a wheelchair-accessible fishing dock for you to enjoy. Whether you have come to fish, paddle around, watch the geese and ducks, or just enjoy the scenery, Rothwell Lake is the perfect destination!

Paddleboat Rental: $10 an hour / first-come basis during Park Ranger Hours / call a Park Ranger at 660-998-0143. The Ranger reserves the right to refuse a rental for public safety or weather reasons.
