Weather Policies and Recommendations
MPRD takes seriously the affects of weather and therefore has a policy for weather related delays or cancellations for softball. It recommends private baseball leagues utilize the same guidance, but it is ultimately up to each league. Similarly, the health of every sports participant and spectator is different so individuals can and should make their own responsible independent judgments about whether to attend and participate in situations where games are not delayed or cancelled. Additionally, the CDC provides this graphic with additional advise for handling heat.
