As part of our commitment to maintaining and improving the City’s infrastructure, the Public Works department will conduct street repairs on Longview West in two phases beginning this month.
On Monday, March 17th, our concrete contractor will begin replacing curbs, gutters, and deteriorated sections of road surface. This will continue for several weeks, weather permitting. Our selected paving contractor will return to complete roadway resurfacing in the fall.
Temporary lane restrictions and detours may be in place. While we strive to minimize disruptions, there may be periods when driveway or curbside access is limited.
Crews will start on the south side of the street and then move to the north side. We ask that residents avoid parking on the construction side of the street during active work hours.
This project is funded by the Transportation Trust, a renewable ½ cent sales tax.
