Mayor Brandon Lucas declared October 27, 2025, as Birthright of Moberly Anniversary Day, in honor of the organization’s 40th anniversary.
Mayor Lucas presented a proclamation to Judy Orscheln, Founding Director of Birthright of Moberly, during a special event this week celebrating the organization’s service to the community.
Founded in 1985, Birthright of Moberly provides free pregnancy testing, counseling, referrals for medical assistance, and adoption services. Originally located on North Williams Street, the organization has since moved to its current home at Trinity United Methodist Church on West Rollins Street.
